Abstract: Today, alternative fuels that can be used in engines are very important in reducing oil dependency. The gasoline and diesel used in the engines are produced according to certain standards. There are also negative effects such as positive effects of alternative fuels. Alternative fuels that are used without improvement impair the properties of engines and fuels. In this study, the separation of ethanol produced by fermentation as distillation with distillation as an alternative fuel was analyzed to TS EN 228 standard of mixture of fusel oil obtained as by-product with unleaded gasoline and its suitability as improvement results.
Özet: Günümüzde motorlarda kullanılabilecek alternatif yakıtlar petrole bağımlılığın azaltılması konusunda oldukça önem arz etmektedir. Motorlarda kullanılan benzin ve dizel belli standartlara göre üretilmektedir. Alternatif yakıtların pozitif etkileri olduğu gibi negatif etkileri de olmaktadır. İyileştirilmeden kullanılan alternatif yakıtlar motorların ve yakıtların özelliklerini bozmaktadır. Bu çalışmada alternatif yakıt olarak fermantasyonla üretilen etanolün damıtma ile ayrılması sonucunda yan ürün olarak elde edilen fuzel yağının kurşunsuz benzin ile karışımının TS EN 228 standardına analizler ve yapılan iyileştirmeler sonucunda uygunluğu incelenmiştir.
